ST JAMES' PARK is the oldest Royal Park in London and the most beautiful. There are fine views from the central bridge over the lake to Whitehall on one side and Buckingham Palace on the other.
The park is surrounded by elegant buildings. Paths wind round trees and flower beds, and the lake, running through the centre of the park, is home to many waterfowl, including pelicans, swans, ducks and geese.
A wonderful place to relax, picnic and listen to the band in summer.
